I am the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Solid Rock Executive Travel & Tours Ltd. I am a practicing Ghana-trained doctor living abroad (UK). Having worked in the U.K National Health Service for five years, one realises that:	*Dr Julius Awakame(MB.ChB. MSc)*

There is the urgent need to support the healthcare delivery efforts of our home government in Ghana
The scale of the health problems is such that they cannot be left to the government alone to sort out.
Those of us living abroad have to find ways of reaching out to the healthcare system in Ghana

Solid Rock is part of that vision, being strategically placed to help raise funds and engage in other activities to support healthcare delivery in Ghana.

To enable Solid Rock to contribute her quota in the support of the government in line with our principles of Corporate and Social Responsibility(CSR), our management has embarked on a program designed to raise funds to assist in buying equipment and pay for part of the emergency healthcare delivered by the A &E Dept. of Korle-Bu.

As a first step, we have committed ourselves to raising up to 10 million cedis per annum into the above special fund to support the Accidents & Emergency Department of Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital

We hope to continuously appeal to our customers to donate into this fund so as to ensure continuous flow of money to support the Accidents & Emergency Department of Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital
